03.19.07: Todd Hignite's retrospective of underground icon Robert Crumb is currently on exhibit at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco (March 16 to July 8, 2007). For more information, read this excellent recap (with a photo gallery) on The Comics Reporter written by publisher Alvin Buenaventura. 03.09.07: Drew Weing's Wulf & Merl premiered in the April 2007 issue of Disney Adventures Magazine. The strip will be an ongoing feature in the magazine, so make sure to follow along each month. A few small illustrations of the title characters can be found on Drew's journal. 12.18.06: Bernie Mireault's illustration for KLA's first holiday card can be viewed here. 10.19.06: Comics scholar Todd Hignite's next book has been acquired by Abrams. The book, written by Hignite and designed by graphic design legend Art Chantry, will be a monograph of esteemed cartoonist Jaime Hernandez tentatively titled Jaime Hernandez: Secrets of Life and Death. 10.13.06: Kitchen and Lind will be at the Small Press Expo in Bethesda Maryland from Friday the 13th through Sunday the 15th.
