Thomas Herpich was born in October of 1979 in northwestern Connecticut. He spent his childhood holed up in a bedroom drawing pictures with his twin brother, and now, as an adult, he spends his time holed up in a bedroom drawing pictures alone.
He studied illustration, animation and cartooning at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, and now lives and works as a freelance illustrator in the mountains of North Carolina. If you come down for a visit, he'll show you all the best swimming holes, but you have to drive. His two comic books, "Cusp" and "Gongwanadon" were published in 2003 and 2004 respectively by Alternative Comics. Other comics work appears in the anthology "Meathaus" as well as in Nickelodeon Magazine and the upcoming anthology "Flight vol. 4." His rebus puzzles have appeared in The Common Review and are a regular feature in King Magazine. |
